We are looking for a Senior Accountant who sees beyond the spreadsheets - someone who understands that clean, precise data is the backbone of international business success.

Overview

This is a high - impact role within our extended Swiss workforce. You will act as a critical financial link, ensuring that our nearshoring operations meet the elite standards of the Swiss market.

You will bridge the gap between traditional accounting excellence and modern digital workflows, working directly on Swiss - based portfolios. We are looking for a meticulous professional who thrives in a cross - border, high - standards environment.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

• Financial Integrity: Manage full - cycle bookkeeping and financial reporting as an integrated member of our Swiss partner’s accounting team.
• Compliance: Lead the preparation and filing of VAT (MwSt) returns, ensuring 100% compliance with Swiss and international financial regulations.
• Seamless Nearshoring: Act as the primary financial touchpoint in Albania, reconciling daily operating revenues and bridging the gap between digital services and Swiss reporting standards.
• Strategic Collaboration: Support the Swiss management team in preparing annual financial statements and providing data - driven insights to optimize the nearshoring model.
• Digital Evolution: Move us away from "the old way." You will help automate and digitalize financial workflows to ensure our Albanian - Swiss collaboration remains agile and tech - forward.

What You Bring

• Education: Completed secondary or higher education (economics background - finance/accounting)
• The Global Professional: You have at least 2 years of experience in an international accounting environment (experience with the DACH region is essential).
• Business knowledge: Good knowledge of accounting and tax regulations.
• Platform experience: ERP systems and proficient use of the MS Office package.
• Linguistic Skills: You are comfortable communicating, reporting, and reviewing financial documents in German.
• Detail - Obsessed: You have a "holistic" mindset. You see the big picture of international business without missing a single decimal point.
