AUTOLOFT – Website for a car dealership in Braunschweig

AUTOLOFT – Web Design by Metanow

    The client & summary

AUTOLOFT is a small car dealership in Braunschweig, Germany, and an official Santander financing partner. The core objective was a professional website to replace its simple website-builder page, presenting its vehicle stock, financing and warranty clearly, with a proper heading structure and image alt texts.

    The challenge

The owner had precise expectations for how the site should look on every device: headlines on one line, texts aligned in parallel, consistent font sizes and nothing that looked unfinished on mobile. Buyers also needed a fast way to reach him directly.

    Our solution

Our team built the website in about a month, from 4 May to 4 June 2026.

    Discovery and scope

The brief listed three dealership websites as examples and asked for heading structure and alt text for images. The existing site provided sample texts that the client planned to adjust himself.

    Design

The first draft was ready on 7 May 2026. The first revision replaced a reviews block with a WhatsApp button that opens a chat with the owner directly, plus text corrections. The second and third rounds focused on mobile optimisation, a warranty footnote visible in the footer on every page and headlines kept on a single line. The fourth round reduced the font size of the three homepage highlights (workshop-checked vehicles, warranty, trade-in and financing) and aligned their texts.

    Build and handover

The site runs on WordPress with Elementor, with pages for vehicle stock, buying cars, brokerage and financing. The vehicle stock links to the dealer's listing on mobile.de. Because the client wanted to handle the migration himself, our team prepared a complete backup package.

    Challenges we solved

Typography across devices: when long headlines wrapped, the team offered two options, shorter headlines or smaller section headings site-wide, and applied the client's choice consistently.

    Page structure

The brief kept the structure lean: a homepage with a short introduction, the Google location and reviews; the vehicle stock; a car purchase page with a contact form, where owners can offer their car; financing as an information page; vehicle brokerage with information and an inquiry option; and the imprint, privacy policy and terms.

    Contact made direct

In the first revision the owner asked for a block with review figures to be removed completely and replaced with a WhatsApp symbol that opens a chat with his mobile number directly. Buyers can now reach the dealer in one tap from any device, which suits a small dealership where the owner answers personally.

    SEO basics

Following the brief, every page uses a clean heading structure and all images have alt text. Sample texts from the previous site were used as a starting point, as the owner planned to adjust and insert his final texts himself.

    Brand assets

The design is built around the dealer's logo, supplied in colour versions with and without background, and follows the examples of three established dealership websites for layout and tone.
