We have some great news to share.
Metanow, together with our partners at MUNAS Consulting, has acquired the software of User-Aid — a Münster-based team building practical tools for digitale Barrierefreiheit (digital accessibility).
The product will continue under munas.de, so companies that need monitoring, an accessibility widget, and a clear Barrierefreiheitserklärung keep a home for that stack — now with Metanow and MUNAS behind it.
What User-Aid built
User-Aid focused on making BFSG- and WCAG-aligned accessibility workable for real websites: Monitoring, a Widget for visitor comfort features, and support for a solid Barrierefreiheitserklärung. Honest tooling — a widget as a complement, never a shortcut that pretends to replace proper compliance.
Thank you, Robin, Janis and Tim
A warm thank-you and congratulations to the User-Aid founders:
- Robin Yildirim — Geschäftsführung
- Janis Poggemann — Technik
- Tim Uhlott — Produkt
You built something meaningful for digital participation in Germany. We are proud to take the software forward, and we congratulate you on this milestone.
Thank you as well to REACH – Euregio Start-up Center, FH Münster, and everyone who supported the journey — and to Dr. Markus Schneider and the MUNAS team for partnering with us on this step.
What happens next
The User-Aid software continues under Metanow and MUNAS Consulting. Product and next steps live at https://munas.de.
If you care about accessible websites — for your customers, for compliance, or simply because the web should work for everyone — we would love to talk.
Congratulations again to Robin, Janis, Tim and the whole User-Aid community.
