Role Summary

Metanow is sourcing a Senior Full-Stack Developer on behalf of one of our clients, a Swiss technology company operating in the regulated financial sector. This is a high-impact engineering role focused on secure, scalable identity and onboarding infrastructure used by banks and regulated institutions.

You'll develop secure, scalable components for an enterprise-grade onboarding and identity platform. Your work directly impacts security, performance, and regulatory compliance at institutions where reliability is non-negotiable.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement backend services using modern Java (Spring Boot, Security, ORM).
• Build frontend applications with Angular for complex, regulated workflows.
• Develop and maintain REST/OpenAPI interfaces.
• Contribute to containerized deployments using Docker.
• Collaborate in a small, high-calibre engineering team.
• Ensure code quality, security standards, and long-term maintainability.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience as a Java developer in mission-critical systems.
• Strong hands-on experience with Spring Boot, Spring Security, Hibernate / ORM.
• Strong experience with Angular and modern frontend architecture patterns.
• Experience with Docker and CI/CD pipelines (Git, Jenkins).
• Solid understanding of API design and integration concepts.
• Comfortable working in agile environments with full ownership of deliverables.
• Fluent in English (German is a plus).

Nice to Have:

• Unit and integration testing experience.
• DevOps exposure OpenShift, Helm.
• Interest or background in security, identity, or compliance topics.
