The client & summary
Stölzl Immobilien is a real estate brokerage in Burghausen, Bavaria, Germany. The core objective was a professional redesign of its website, using its own content and presenting the owner personally.
The challenge
The site had to stay GDPR-conscious, show an accessibility badge in the footer rather than floating over the content, work smoothly on mobile, and include a property page for listings from an external portal.
Our solution
Our team worked on the redesign between December 2025 and June 2026.
Design
The first draft was ready on 16 December 2025, with a home page, about us, services, property page, contact and legal pages. The about us section presents the owner personally, and sections for rentals and client references use the client's own texts.
Refinement
Over four revision rounds our team switched the accessibility widget to German, placed the accessibility badge and scroll-to-top button in the footer on mobile, and fixed the mobile menu.
Launch and maintenance
After migration to the live domain, our team hosted Google Fonts locally for GDPR compliance and updated outdated plugins to avoid future conflicts.
Structure and content
The site uses the content provided by the brokerage and covers the homepage, an about page presenting the owner, a services page, a property page, contact and the legal pages. The property page was designed with a hero section only, because the listings themselves are embedded through a plugin from an external property portal, so they stay up to date without manual work.
Accessibility done carefully
The accessibility badge is visible only in the footer, as the client requested, and the scroll-to-top icon was moved to the right-hand side so it no longer sits awkwardly in the middle. On the live site our team also checked that the accessibility button still appears correctly after launch.
