Somitec – SEO discovery and setup for an IT service provider

The client & summary

Somitec is an IT service provider from the Nuremberg region, Germany, offering IT support, managed services and IT security. The core objective was to rank for competitive IT service keywords in its region, starting with a thorough analysis of its website and competitors and followed by a clean SEO implementation.

The challenge

The regional IT market is crowded with established providers, so keyword choices had to be realistic. The client also expected a report precise enough to track every action item.

Our solution

Our team delivered the SEO setup in about one week, from 3 to 11 March 2026.

Discovery

Our team ran a technical SEO audit, a backlink audit, competitor research against five regional IT providers named by the client, and research of 20 keywords.

Implementation

Rank Math was set up, technical and on-page SEO was implemented, the heading structure was corrected, and meta titles, meta descriptions and image alt tags were added. Each page received content recommendations, and Google Search Console and Google Analytics were connected.

Revision

In the adjustment round our team corrected the report, clarified the status of each action item and replaced an overly competitive keyword with realistic alternatives, both on the site and in the report.
