The client & summary
Rüther Consulting is a new independent consultancy that helps freelancers and small businesses improve customer retention and the customer journey. The founder was starting out as a self-employed consultant. The core objective was a warm, professional website that explains her focus and makes it easy to book an initial conversation.
The challenge
The founder had looked at several consultant websites and found most of them far too text-heavy. She wanted a focused landing page where visitors can book an appointment and download a PDF that explains her offer, with her logo and branding applied exactly as designed.
Our solution
Our team designed and launched the site in under two weeks in April 2026.
Discovery and scope
The brief listed three competitor sites as references, mainly as examples of what to avoid: too much text. The scope was a clear landing page with appointment booking via Cal.eu, a PDF download and a GDPR-compliant contact form.
Design
The first draft was delivered on 17 April 2026. In the first revision the founder supplied the exact logo version and her own texts for key sections. The second round restored a photo she wanted to keep and fixed the "Leistungen" menu item so it scrolls to the right section.
Build and launch
The site runs on WordPress with Elementor, with a "Mein Fokus" section, services, an about section and contact, plus booking and download buttons. It was migrated to the client's own hosting on 23 April 2026.
Challenges we solved
Saying less: the design keeps the text short and puts the two actions that matter, booking a call and downloading the offer, in clear view.
One offer, clearly explained
At launch the founder offers a single service, so the page is built around it rather than a menu of packages. Instead of long text blocks on the page, the detailed explanation of the offer lives in a downloadable PDF, while the page itself stays short and leads straight to booking an appointment.
