The client & summary
Nutzfahrzeuge Gebr. Ruhrig GmbH (NGR) is a commercial vehicle dealership in Würselen, Germany, selling trucks, trailers and vans to business customers worldwide. The core objective was a modern B2B website with an easy vehicle search, inspired by large truck marketplaces, and a vehicle stock that stays in sync with the dealer's mobile.de listings automatically.
The challenge
The dealer wanted to move away from traditional car dealership layouts toward a modern truck trading experience. The stock had to mirror mobile.de exactly: new listings added, deleted ones removed and parked or deactivated ones hidden, with images and data mapped to the website.
Our solution
Our team built the website and the custom sync plugin between July and September 2026.
Discovery and scope
The brief named a large truck marketplace as the model for the look and vehicle search, with a design aligned to NGR's new corporate identity.
Design
The first draft was ready on 24 July 2026. Five revision rounds followed detailed PDFs from the client, covering icons, forms, the vehicle archive, the single-vehicle template and the search filters in the hero section and the archive.
mobile.de integration
Our team developed a custom WordPress plugin that connects to mobile.de, creates the vehicle structure with custom post types, fields, categories and filters, and imports vehicle data, images and status automatically. Later rounds refined how deleted and parked listings are handled, so the website shows only active vehicles.
Build and launch
The site runs on WordPress with Elementor and JetEngine, with a multi-step inquiry form and cookie consent. It was migrated to ngr-trucks.de on 27 August 2026. After launch our team made the mobile stock view more compact, with a direct route to the vehicles and a collapsible filter.
Challenges we solved
One source of truth: the dealer manages vehicles in mobile.de, and the website follows automatically.
A modern B2B trading experience
The brief asked for a clean, premium design with clear structures, generous white space and large imagery, aligned to the dealer's new corporate identity. The reference marketplace was chosen for its modern, professional look and its easy-to-use vehicle search, while NGR keeps its own brand identity. Placeholder content and licensed stock images were used in the first draft until the final texts, team photos and brand materials arrived.
Showcase, not shop
The website showcases vehicles and generates inquiries. There is no e-commerce, payment provider or checkout. It is designed for an average inventory of around 120 vehicles, synchronised daily from mobile.de, with the vehicle overview and detail pages fully integrated into the custom design.
Audience and languages
The target audience includes transport and construction companies, dealers, export customers and other commercial clients. The site launched in German only, with a structure prepared for additional languages later.
