The client & summary
mareData GmbH is an IT service and solutions provider from Westoverledingen in northern Germany, including maritime connectivity services. The core objective was a professional redesign that presents its full service portfolio, from websites, SEO and software development to performance marketing, ERP/CRM and AI, without feeling overloaded.
The challenge
The portfolio is broad: IT service, IT security, remote maintenance, cloud data, email servers, VoIP, logistics, ERP and CRM, software and AI development. The client wanted a personal touch with team photos, lighter service pages and a contact form that was protected against bots and delivered inquiries into its CRM.
Our solution
Our team worked on the redesign between March and September 2026.
Design
The first draft was ready on 26 March 2026. Over three revision rounds the design was simplified for a lighter, clearer look: service pages were lightened, references were updated, a recurring footer section was added and a maritime connectivity section was placed on the homepage. Outdated email service references were removed.
Build and launch
The site runs on WordPress with Elementor, with pages for IT service, IT solutions and the company. It was migrated and the DNS pointed to the new site in September 2026.
CRM form
Our team connected the contact form to Metanow CRM with an email notification and added bot protection after fake sign-ups appeared.
Challenges we solved
A broad portfolio without overload: the service pages were simplified over several rounds so visitors find the right service quickly.
Less uniform, more lively
After the first draft the client felt the site was too loaded and that giving every page the same structure made it a little boring. Our team varied the page layouts, lightened the service pages and moved project references into a more prominent position, so each area of the business has its own character.
Maritime connectivity
On the homepage, the maritime connectivity section was rebalanced so that no single partner product dominates, with Starlink, GSM and Iridium used as the key terms visitors search for. The site structure covers IT service with IT security and remote maintenance, IT solutions with web design, cloud data, telephony and VoIP, shipping and email servers, and the company pages with partners, references and image credits, plus a blog.
