The client & summary
Fliesen Muschalik is a tiling specialist based in Möhnesee near Soest, Germany, offering consulting, planning, coordination and installation, including large-format tiles and barrier-free bathrooms. The core objective was a full professional rebuild of its existing website, which had technical problems after a plugin update.
The challenge
The owners liked their current design and wanted to keep its quality, but with better structure, performance, SEO and stability. Details mattered: the right place names, the right images for each service and media that the business is licensed to use.
Our solution
Our team rebuilt the website in about three and a half weeks, from 27 June to 22 July 2026.
Discovery and scope
The brief named two local tiling businesses as competitors and asked for a complete rebuild of all components.
Design
The first draft was ready on 13 July 2026. In the first revision the owners asked whether a background video could be used legally; our team made sure only licensed media was used. The second corrected the location wording and updated the four service areas: consulting, planning, coordination and realisation. The third swapped the images for large-format tiles and barrier-free bathrooms.
Build and launch
The site runs on WordPress with Elementor, with pages for services, quotes, the company and a gallery, and a booking button. Our team set up Antispam Bee against spam messages, with reCAPTCHA planned after migration, and the site went live on 22 July 2026.

Keeping what worked: the rebuild kept the look the owners liked while fixing the technical foundation underneath.
What the owners wanted
The client liked the existing design but wanted a full professional rebuild of every component. Wishes for the new site included replacing the previous review widget with Google reviews, improving the reference section, where images appeared too large and unclear, and integrating Instagram. The design had to keep a high-quality, premium visual style rather than look like a basic template website.
SEO scope
The brief combined the redesign with an SEO scope: an audit, technical and on-page implementation, ten researched keywords, connecting Google Search Console and Google Analytics, a Rank Math setup, content recommendations per page, meta titles and descriptions, image alt tags and a final audit.
Revision details
The first revision round came as a detailed list from the owners. The underline under the company name was removed, the location in the intro text was changed to Möhnesee and later corrected to the proper wording, a duplicated consulting label was fixed and the "learn more" buttons on the four service tiles were removed as unnecessary. In the services overview, images for barrier-free bathrooms, large-format tiles and tile, natural stone and mosaic laying were replaced with the owners' own photos, and repeated images in the company section were cleaned up.
Page structure
The final structure covers the homepage, services, a quote request page, the company, references and contact, plus the legal notice, privacy policy and terms. The contact form was set up to be GDPR compliant.
