The client & summary
FIRST LAB is an Austrian laboratory producing custom ear moulds (otoplastics) for hearing care professionals, from hearing aid moulds to hearing protection. The core objective was to redesign its existing landing page so it looks more professional and visually appealing, in the high-quality graphic style of a premium industry reference.
The challenge
Otoplastics are small, precise products, and the visuals had to be accurate: different materials had to look different and the illustrations had to match real products. The lab also wanted visitors, mainly hearing care professionals, to reach online ordering quickly.
Our solution
Our team redesigned the landing page between May and June 2026.
Discovery and scope
The brief referenced a premium otoplastics site and asked for a similar graphic style, a contact form and GDPR compliance.
Design
The first draft was ready on 11 May 2026. In the first revision the client asked about a fully matte black layout and noted that an animation for sleep and swimming protection did not relate to otoplastics. The second round made the hard and silicone materials look distinct and corrected a Thermotec illustration that showed a hole the real mould does not have.
Build and launch
The site runs on WordPress with Elementor, with pages for otoplastics, protective otoplastics, about and contact, and an "Order now" call to action linking to the lab's online ordering. The site was migrated to the live domain on 3 June 2026.
Challenges we solved
Product accuracy: the revision rounds were about making every material and product illustration true to what the lab actually produces.
