The client & summary
e-Latinum by Academia Linguae is a German online learning offer for Latin courses. The core objective was a conversion-focused website with teaser content and subscription booking in one place.
The challenge
The existing setup used WordPress with WooCommerce for the shop and Moodle for the course content, with videos hosted on Google Drive, and ran largely manually. The client wanted to automate the process and start the learning platform step by step.
Our solution
Our team delivered the website in about five weeks, from 4 March to 8 April 2026.
Design
The new website was designed with a conversion-focused homepage, video and teaser content, modelled on a subscription-based training site. In the first revision our team integrated the new e-Latinum by Academia Linguae logo, replaced the first homepage video and adjusted the colours.
Learning platform
A learning management system was set up with course packages and subscriptions. At the client's request it started with two products, including 90-day access, exam correction, final exam and tutor support. A pricing table links to example subscriptions and the checkout.
Launch
The platform went live on the new domain, e-latinum.com.
Replacing a manual setup
The previous setup worked well but ran largely by hand across a shop, a separate course platform and videos stored in cloud folders. The brief was to replace it with one integrated WordPress learning platform based on Tutor LMS, set up the structure for all courses and migrate the existing premium course materials, including videos, tests and texts, from Moodle to the new platform.
Step by step
The client wanted to go live quickly but not launch everything at once, so the platform started with two products and a step-by-step rollout. On the homepage, the first video was replaced with one showing learning on a laptop or tablet, so visitors immediately see what online learning with e-Latinum looks like. Membership and payment run automatically.
