The client & summary
Bauer Spedition GmbH is a German freight forwarding and logistics company with locations in Callenberg and Chemnitz in Germany and Ústí nad Labem in the Czech Republic, offering transport, logistics solutions and customs services. The core objective was a professional new website in several languages, with careers and news sections.
The challenge
The old website was outdated. The client first wanted the design to follow a provided mockup, then decided to return to an earlier draft direction, while keeping everything editable in Elementor.
Our solution
Our team worked on the website between July and September 2026.
First version
The first draft was ready on 27 July 2026. Revisions added a history timeline, a sharp footer logo, counters for the key figures, a subtle overlay on the hero video and a font close to the logo's typeface.
Second version
The client then asked for a design based on an earlier draft. Our team rebuilt the site in that direction with an angular, sharp-edged style that matches the trucks, a full-width hero video behind the content boxes, the red E in the logo and a new section order: services, why Bauer and history.
Languages, careers and launch
The site was set up in German, English and Czech, with careers pages and a news section. After a backup of the old site, the new website was migrated, and the client's team received an editing tutorial.
The brief
Bauer Spedition GmbH is a freight forwarding and logistics company covering transport, logistics solutions, customs services and sustainable supply chain management. The brief asked for a professional, modern website that closely follows the mockup the client provided, while leaving room for better ideas where they fit.
Brand-led design
The design language comes straight from the fleet: angular, nested and interlocking shapes, a parallax scroll effect and the tiles seen on the trucks and in the logo. The palette is white with grey tiles and the red and grey of the logo. In the first revision the client asked that every red on the site matches the exact logo red, and the strip above the header was removed.
Structure and content
The page structure covers the homepage, services, blog, contact, locations and an e-mobility page, plus the legal notice and privacy policy. On the e-mobility page, the letter E in the logo is shown in the brand's blue. Images supplied by the client were used wherever available and the remaining sections were completed with stock images. The client's own texts formed the basis of the copy.
Three languages from the header
The site is trilingual, in German, English and Czech, with the language switcher placed in the header so visitors can change language from any page.
Editable by the client
When the client returned to the earlier draft direction, the requirement was that everything stays editable in Elementor. Our team rebuilt the layout in that style so the client's team can update pages themselves, supported by the editing tutorial handed over at launch. The site also includes a GDPR-compliant contact form.
