The client & summary
ALPEAN is a health and rehabilitation provider in the Swiss mountain resorts of Laax and Flims. It offers physiotherapy, medical training therapy, massages, TCM and acupuncture, group classes and a training centre across several locations. The core objective of the project was a professional redesign of alpean.ch that keeps the established corporate identity and guides visitors quickly to the right service and booking link.
The challenge
The existing website no longer looked professional, but the brand's colours and identity had to stay. ALPEAN does not sell online: every booking runs through a separate, specialised booking system. The new site therefore had to focus on clear information, a logical page structure for therapies, activities and locations, and visible booking, email and phone buttons on every page. It also had to be in German only and reuse the existing content and photos.
Our solution
Our team redesigned the site in several rounds between December 2025 and January 2026, and migrated it to the live domain in June 2026.
Discovery and scope
The brief defined the essentials up front: a professional redesign without e-commerce, German as the only language, all existing texts and photos reused, a GDPR-compliant contact form and a slider like the one on the existing jobs page. The page structure covered therapies, activities, about us, jobs and contact.
Design
The first draft was ready shortly before Christmas 2025. In the first revision the client asked for a redesign that stays closer to the current look while using the new page structure, so our team rebuilt the layout around the existing corporate identity. The second round refined the header: the booking, email and phone buttons in the upper right corner stay visible, while the language switcher and basket icons from the old site were removed, and the logo replaced a separate start-page navigation item.
Build and launch
The site runs on WordPress with Elementor. A dynamic single-post template lets the ALPEAN team publish new offers, such as group trainings, without touching the layout. For the migration in June 2026 our team cloned the site, cleaned up unused plugins, themes and pages (old pages were kept as drafts rather than deleted) and checked the button links before going live.
Challenges we solved
The main challenge was balance: a visibly more modern site that still feels like ALPEAN. Keeping the booking buttons persistent on desktop and adding a sticky mobile menu made sure the redesign never gets in the way of the site's main job, which is sending visitors to the booking system.
