The client & summary
Alien Technology Transfer is a consultancy that helps startups and innovative companies access grant funding. The core objective was a professional, corporate-grade website that builds trust with founders, supports ad campaigns and captures leads.
The challenge
The existing site looked flat and dull, yet it was already optimised for search, so the refresh had to make it feel dynamic without breaking the SEO foundation. Layouts also had to hold up when visitors zoom their browser in and out.
Our solution
Our team worked on the website between February and June 2026.
Design
Based on the client's detailed feedback sheets, our team redesigned the home, about, clients, careers, insights and contact pages, with a data-point carousel and a custom post type for content. A pricing template and a landing page and thank-you page template were prepared for future services and campaigns.
Build and launch
The hero section and layouts were reworked to adapt cleanly to browser zoom, and the site was migrated in April 2026.
Lead generation
An insight report was added as a lead magnet that visitors download in exchange for their name and email, including a programme card on the homepage. For a country-specific campaign our team set up a geo-targeted pop-up and added a skip step that still requires an email address.
The brief
Alien Technology Transfer is a business and management consultancy. The client wanted a cosmetic refresh that makes the site feel more dynamic, engaging and visually appealing while keeping a clean and trustworthy appearance. Because the existing site was already optimised for search, the redesign had to preserve its SEO structure and performance.
Page structure
The site covers the landing page, about, careers, insights, contact and privacy policy as main pages, plus service subpages for grant funding, grant compliance and accounting, medical regulatory affairs consulting and IP management, a clients page and an SBIR recap page. Brand images supplied by the client were used where visuals were needed, especially in the header section.
Working from feedback sheets
Feedback came in structured sheets, with changes listed page by page for each round. Our team implemented the first and second rounds of changes from these sheets, which kept every adjustment traceable.
Preparing for paid campaigns
The client planned an online ad campaign with a funnel of several pages and forms. Our team reviewed what was possible and prepared the reusable landing page, thank-you page and pricing templates for it.
Lead magnet placement
The downloadable insight report can be reached from a programme card on the homepage and from blog posts on the related campaign topic. The pop-up is shown only to visitors from the target country through a geotargeting service. The skip step button sits next to the eligibility test button, across the campaign pages and on the insights page, and the client can edit the text on the lead magnet form.
