The client & summary
A1-Charge is an electric vehicle charging brand of the Italian B810 group and part of the Motor Valley association. The core objective was a new corporate website that presents its charging products and services, supports several languages and matches the official corporate identity.
The challenge
The brand wanted a modern site that could stand next to leading charging brands, with a product catalogue, service pages, news and a mega menu, plus a concept for presenting its cloud platform. The official brand fonts and a hero video had to be integrated, and translations depended on the licence of the live site.
Our solution
Our team built the website between March and September 2026.
Discovery and scope
The client's current site and a leading charging manufacturer served as references, alongside parking and mobility apps named as competitors for the platform concept.
Design
The complete first draft was ready on 7 April 2026, covering the catalogue archive, single product pages, services, news, single posts, legal pages and a mega menu, with a 3D pop-up for a flagship charging product. In the revision round the official fonts, Formata for headings and Raleway for body text, were applied along with the client's requested changes.
Build and launch
The site runs on WordPress with Elementor. The multilingual plugin, WPML, manages the Italian and English versions. In September 2026 our team also worked on the hero video so it plays automatically.
Challenges we solved
A complete corporate site in one draft: catalogue, services, news and navigation were delivered together so the client could review the whole experience at once.
Official brand typography
During the first revision the client supplied the official A1-Charge fonts: Formata for headings and Raleway for body text. Our team replaced the draft fonts across the site with these brand fonts, and applied the client's screen-by-screen revision notes from a Word document.
Autoplay hero video
The homepage hero video did not start automatically on all devices at first. Our team reworked the video setup so it plays automatically, giving visitors an immediate impression of the brand's charging products as soon as the page loads.
